  15.     Ok, I own FW4 and know that it doesn't do footnotes.  It does
  16. endnotes, not footnotes.  Sure, there are some AREXX scripts out there
  17. which will draw footnotes for you, but they all have one problem: if
  18. you decide to go back and edit an earlier section of text which already
  19. has footnotes, the pages the footnotes appear on are not recalculated.
  20. So, you could have your text reference a footnote on the previous or
  21. next page.  While it's nice to have the AREXX scripts, they do not take
  22. the place of true footnote support.

  24.     Don't get me wrong - Final Writer is a solid product and has many
  25. nice features, but footnotes isn't one of them.  (Yet, anyway.  Thanks for
  26. putting table editing in FW5 Woody!)
