- Ok, I own FW4 and know that it doesn't do footnotes. It does
- endnotes, not footnotes. Sure, there are some AREXX scripts out there
- which will draw footnotes for you, but they all have one problem: if
- you decide to go back and edit an earlier section of text which already
- has footnotes, the pages the footnotes appear on are not recalculated.
- So, you could have your text reference a footnote on the previous or
- next page. While it's nice to have the AREXX scripts, they do not take
- the place of true footnote support.
-
- Don't get me wrong - Final Writer is a solid product and has many
- nice features, but footnotes isn't one of them. (Yet, anyway. Thanks for
- putting table editing in FW5 Woody!)
